Parallel Connectors 16mm²-120mm²

L-P type parallel connectors have been developed for connecting low-voltage conductors. They are chamfered to allow easy insertion of the conductor. The L-P copper connectors are annealed and electrolytically tinned.

Parallel connectors are used to extend cables of different or the same cross-sections. For example, to extend an existing 16mm² cable with a 34mm² cable, a parallel connector for 50mm² is used (16+34=50mm²). The two cables are stripped according to the length of the parallel connector, and the 16mm² cable is inserted into the parallel connector from one side, and the 34mm² cable is pushed over it from the other side. The parallel connector is then crimped to create an optimal connection between the two cables. For protection, the connection point should be adequately insulated with heat shrink tubing.
