Victron Cyrix-ct 230A 12/24V Battery Combiner

This battery isolator connects or disconnects the starter battery from the leisure battery. This is to ensure, on the one hand, that the leisure battery does not discharge the starter battery too much. On the other hand, it allows the leisure battery to be charged by the alternator as soon as the starter battery is fully charged. As long as the starter battery is within a good voltage range, the two batteries are connected via the battery isolator and are thus available to consumers as a total capacity.

New: intelligent battery monitoring prevents unwanted switching
Some battery isolators disconnect connected batteries during brief high current loads. It can also happen that when a larger but discharged battery bank is connected, the device disconnects the connection due to the sudden voltage drop that occurs.

The Cyrix-i 12/24-230 software enables more than simple switching on and off based on voltage and fixed time delay. Cyrix-i takes into account the trend of previous charging/discharging processes and only deviates from it if trend changes occur within certain time intervals. The time delay depends on the trend of the voltage deviation.
