VE.Direct Bluetooth Smart Dongle for Battery Monitor BMV-700 and BMV-702 and Victron MPPT Solar Charge Controllers

This interface adapter (dongle) sends data from BMV-70x series battery monitors and Blue Solar MPPT solar charge controllers to a smartphone or tablet via Bluetooth.
The corresponding app for iPhone and Android is available for free download.

App Download

Once the dongle is connected to the battery monitor or solar charge controller, only the app needs to be installed. After that, all relevant data such as battery voltage, solar power, charge status, etc. will be available in the app.

The new version now not only allows current data to be displayed, but also enables full configuration of the solar charge controllers and battery monitors via Bluetooth. Previously, this was only possible via PC + interface cable or directly on the device (battery monitor only).

In addition, all historical values from the battery monitor as well as the 30-day history of the solar charge controller can now be displayed.

The VE.Direct Bluetooth Smart Dongle uses Bluetooth Low Energy technology.

Notes:

• The dongle must be connected directly to the devices mentioned above. The dongle cannot be connected to a Color Control GX. It is not possible to display data from one of the above devices if both the dongle and the Color Control GX are used simultaneously.
• Only one Victron device can be connected per dongle (if a battery monitor and a solar charge controller are to be monitored, two dongles must be used; both Victron devices will then be displayed in the app).
• It is not possible to extend the dongle's connection cable.
