The CBE StandBy-Charger is used for automatic recharging and trickle charging of the starter battery from the leisure battery. The device can be easily retrofitted by simply connecting it between the leisure and starter battery or leisure and auxiliary battery, without having to change the existing wiring.
When the leisure battery voltage reaches 13.6V DC, the Standby Charger becomes active and recharges the starter or auxiliary battery with up to 4 A. The charging current depends on the state of charge of the starter battery. As soon as the leisure battery voltage drops below 12.5V, the Standby Charger deactivates again.
A green LED on the device indicates that the device is ready for operation.
