Benefits of a spare wheel carrier spacer for your camper

Our 5mm untreated aluminum spare wheel carrier spacer is designed for situations where larger wheels require additional clearance. While most tire and wheel combinations do not require a spacer, they are essential when using a high ET rim like an ET 62 in combination with a large tire, or when the wheel diameter is 33” or more.

The spacer is made from untreated aluminum, and due to the 'raw' nature of the material, superficial scratches are common. These cosmetic imperfections do not affect performance and will not be visible once the spacer is installed. We intentionally left the spacer 'untreated' to avoid unnecessary costs, making it a practical and affordable solution.

Installation Requirements

The spacer is placed between the spare wheel and the mounting plate of the spare wheel carrier.
