VW Transporter T5 to T6.1 (2003-2024) Cab Curtain Kit (Blackout)

A very neat, clean, and simple solution to the cab curtain dilemma! This is a double-layer day/night blackout curtain (grey inside/black outside) that fits around your cab windows (windscreen and 2 side windows). It's made from the same stretch fabric as our rear curtain kits, so they match well. It's dark enough for sleeping and resting! The curtain has a drop of 95 cm and falls in front of the dashboard to keep out light.

When not in use, this cab curtain can be easily rolled up and stored in a cupboard or under the seat. It's much less bulky than silver screens and rolls up in seconds, making it perfect for daytime privacy too. If you're camping in colder weather, it's a good idea to double them up with insulated cab curtains.

Installation Notes:

You will need to drill a 2mm hole for these poppers to ensure they fit snugly and won't come loose. While our full curtain kits require you to drill a 2.5mm hole for the rails to screw into the van's metal, we found that this was a bit too large for the popper mounting on the cab curtains.

The cab curtain is secured with 6 poppers (included). One popper is located in each corner of the windscreen, and two on each side on the pillars behind the cab seats. The curtain is shaped and elasticated at the top corners to keep it taut and simply drops vertically downwards. You can then tuck it in front of the steering wheel if you wish.
