Benefits of a Cargo Frame for your Campervan 

This versatile frame serves as a bike rack, ski rack, or box carrier, allowing you to get the most out of your Cargo Ladder. You can easily adapt its functionality depending on the trip you're planning.

For transporting bicycles, you can attach bike racks to the Sequoia Cargo Frame. You can mount the Thule Proride 598 bike rack there (preferably in black for the best appearance). The Thule bike rack is also equipped with adapters for fat bikes. Or you can take your skis with you by horizontally mounting ski clamps like the Thule Ski Holder. Thule bike racks and ski holders are not included.

The Cargo Frame allows you to transport bicycles while still leaving space for a Cargo Box and a spare tire. It can be mounted above the Cargo Box, but if you don't have a Cargo Box or spare tire, you can mount the Cargo Frame lower on the Cargo Ladder for easier bike loading.

You can also use the Cargo Frame to transport other items, such as aluminum or plastic boxes or inflatable SUPs (in their bags).

Installation Requirements 

The installation of the Cargo Frame requires the following material:

• Sequoia Cargo Ladder Crafter 2017+ or Man TGE

The Cargo Frame can rest on your spare tire on the spare tire carrier. This is useful for absorbing extreme (bumpy or off-road) forces and impacts during off-road driving. The frame resting does not create a rigid connection, so the vehicle body remains flexible during off-road driving.

The Cargo Frame comes with a Door Reinforcement Plate. This plate is mounted behind the Cargo Ladder and helps distribute the forces of opening and closing the door over a larger area. Transporting equipment at the back of the vehicle means you should open and close the door with extra care. It's better to close the door gently rather than letting it fall or slamming it shut. We strongly recommend installing this reinforcement plate behind the Cargo Ladder when installing a Cargo Frame.
