Furthermore, mounting the spare wheel on this holder creates additional space under the vehicle, which can be used, for example, for water tanks or additional fuel tanks. In off-road situations or on difficult terrain, it can be hard to access the spare wheel under the vehicle. By mounting the wheel on a holder, it becomes much more accessible when you need it most. The spare wheel holder for the Cargo Ladder allows you to mount the spare wheel higher than with the Sequoia Spare Wheel Carrier.

Installation requirements

Installation of the holder is easy thanks to the pre-drilled upper holes and flexible cutouts in the Cargo Ladder. The spare wheel holder can be mounted at various heights by utilizing the cutouts on the Cargo Ladder or other racks.

We also offer wheel bolts. For OEM 16” steel wheels, we offer steel wheel nuts with a rounded contact surface. However, most aftermarket aluminum wheels typically require 60-degree conical bolts (M14x1.5), which you can also select.
