Benefits of the Cargo Ladder Additional Step

The additional step for the Cargo Ladder makes it possible to still climb the ladder even when it is equipped with a Cargo Box or other equipment. The step is mounted on the side of the Cargo Ladder, between two rungs, allowing you to safely ascend.

When climbing, you can first use the lower hinge bolt as the first step, followed by the additional step, then the upper hinge bolt and the upper tubes of the Cargo Ladder.

Up to three additional steps can be installed, but a single one is usually sufficient. If you attach equipment such as cargo boxes, cargo frames, or other accessories, it can be difficult or even impossible to use the ladder. However, with this additional step, you maintain easy access to the top of the Cargo Ladder.

Installation Requirements

The additional step must be installed before mounting the Cargo Box.
