Now with wiring loom – Our T5-T6.1 double swivel base now comes with a wiring loom for vans that have heated seats or a seatbelt warning light. If your van has either of these features, the wiring loom will make installation much easier. If not, you won’t need to use the kit.

How the swivel works

The T5/T6 double swivel is one of our most popular and refined products. We love hearing how it has transformed our customers’ vanlife – without losing the practicality of the front bench seat.

The swivel mechanism of a Kiravans swivel is different to others on the market. It uses a clever slide and swivel design, which means you need to open the side door to allow full movement. Once in position the seat is locked into place using four specially engineered locking bolts for safe driving.

This swivel is TUV approved.

EU Homologation process

Each country applies different rules to similar standards. The product has been tested by TUV to specifications recognised in the EU, however each country follows its own rules for vehicle homologation. These rules are often applied differently – region to region, or even inspector to inspector. We advise contacting the relevant organisation in your country prior to purchase to find out what is required to successfully use this product.

What is it?
A metal sheet and pre-cut carpet that fit perfectly inside the T5/T6 double seat base. A simple but clever addition to improve the under-seat storage area – an idea from one of our customers!

What does it do?
When the swivel is installed, it can leave exposed parts and small gaps within the seat box. This base plate & carpet:

• Prevents small items from getting stuck
• Eliminates rattles
• Creates a neat, finished look inside the seat box

Fitting Instructions

• Install your double swivel following our instructions & video
• Place the metal plate on top of the swivel
• Fit the seat to the plate & bolt it down — the plate is now sandwiched between the seat & swivel
• Place the carpet on top of the plate inside the seat box
• Result: No gaps, no trapped items and a quieter ride!
