Compatibility

Reports & Vehicle Documents – what you need to know

The type approval numbers listed in the report usually refer to the base vehicle (e.g., VW Transporter, Mercedes Sprinter, MAN TGE, Fiat Ducato). Camper versions are often included in the report, but the lists are usually not exhaustive.
For converted campers or motorhomes, a different type approval number may therefore be registered. In these cases, the report usually still applies because the chassis is identical. Should there still be discrepancies, you can have an individual inspection carried out – experience shows this is straightforward.
