Reports & vehicle documents – what you need to know

The type approval numbers listed in the report usually refer to the base vehicle (e.g. VW Transporter, Mercedes Sprinter, MAN TGE, Fiat Ducato). Camper versions are often also included in the report, but the lists are usually not complete.
For converted campers or motorhomes, a different type approval number may therefore be entered. In these cases, the report is usually still valid, as the chassis is identical. Should there nevertheless be discrepancies, you can have an individual inspection carried out - experience shows that this is uncomplicated.
