Expert Opinion & Vehicle Documents – What You Need to Know

The type approval numbers listed in the expert opinion usually refer to the base vehicle (e.g., VW Transporter, Mercedes Sprinter, MAN TGE, Fiat Ducato). Camper variants are often also considered in the expert opinion, but the lists are usually not complete.
For converted campers or motorhomes, a different type approval number may therefore be entered. In these cases, the expert opinion generally still applies, as the chassis is identical. Should there still be discrepancies, you can have an individual inspection carried out – experience shows this is straightforward.

👉 If you are unsure, please ask in advance so we can jointly check whether the front bar fits your vehicle or state the version of your vehicle model in the order notes when placing your order.
