Benefits of the Sprinter Rear Door Reinforcement Plate for Cargo Ladder

The Sequoia reinforcement plate is specifically designed for the Sequoia Cargo Ladder to distribute weight forces over a larger area, protecting the rear door of the 2006 - 2017 Sprinter or Crafter, especially when the door is closed with heavy loads on the Cargo Ladder. This plate is supplied as standard with the Cargo Frame (bike rack).

In addition, two extra spacer plates for the hinges are included to ensure that the Cargo Ladder is evenly positioned on the door at all mounting points. However, even with the reinforcement plate installed, it is important to always close the rear door of your 2nd generation Crafter or MAN TGE carefully, especially with heavy loads mounted.
