Advantages of the Sprinter Rear Door Reinforcement Plate for Cargo Ladders

The Sequoia reinforcement plate is specially designed for the Sequoia Cargo Ladder to distribute the weight forces over a larger area, thereby protecting the rear door of the Sprinter or 1st generation Crafter, especially when the door is closed with heavy loads on the cargo ladder. This plate comes standard with the Cargo Frame (bike rack).

In addition, two extra spacer plates for the hinges are included to ensure that the cargo ladder is evenly positioned on the door at all mounting points. Even with the reinforcement plate installed, it is important to always close the rear door of your Sprinter or 1st generation Crafter carefully, especially with heavy loads mounted.
