For panel vans with surface-mounted (protruding) windows, the Plus Arm is necessary.
For e-bikes over 20kg, it significantly improves stability, but is not absolutely necessary. Please note that the maximum bike weight per holder of 25kg is not increased by this.
For older or possibly poorly glued C-rails (Thule/Fiamma), the Plus Arm can significantly increase stability and thus safety.
For bikes with strongly curved handlebars (up to approx. 70mm rise), the Plus Arm can create enough space to mount such bikes.

AN ADDED DISTANCE

With the PUSHrack Plus Arm, you gain about 6-7 cm more distance from the vehicle. This means significantly more space between handlebars and windows. So you don't have to worry about unwanted contact and possible scratches.

AN ADDED STABILITY

Thanks to the PUSHrack Plus Arm, the load of the hung bicycles is evenly distributed into the vehicle door. This significantly improves the stability of the often not optimally glued Thule rails.
Any twisting of the rail due to the weight of the bike has been completely eliminated.

The Plus Arm is available in 3 different lengths. The length you need depends on the distance from the upper rail to the upper edge of the door. The silver clamp has 3 positions for mounting, so the length is given as a range (from - to).

L250: 225 - 275 mm (Mostly suitable for VW Crafter)
L300: 275 - 325 mm (Mostly suitable for Fiat Ducato / Citroen Jumper / Peugeot Boxer in height H2 (height 2.5 m))
L350: 325 - 375 mm (Mostly suitable for Mercedes Sprinter)
L550: 525 - 575 mm (Mostly suitable for Fiat Ducato / Citroen Jumper / Peugeot Boxer in height H3 (height 2.7 m))

Assembly:

The Plus Arm is mounted between the rail and the bike holder, can be retrofitted, and can also be removed without leaving any residue.
The Plus Arm is made of aluminum and powder-coated black, except for the clamp on the door edge. The clamp is made of stainless steel.
