Compatibility

  Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC): fully compatible
  Park Distance Control (PDC): parking aid largely functional – only the two middle sensors are deactivated by the included stickers
  Front camera: remains functional, though the field of view may be slightly restricted
 Automatic parking system: should continue to function – previous tests confirm functionality

Certificates & vehicle documents – what you need to know

The type approval numbers listed in the certificate generally refer to the base vehicle (e.g., VW Transporter, Mercedes Sprinter, MAN TGE, Fiat Ducato). Camper variants are often included in the certificate as well, although the lists are usually not exhaustive.
For converted campers or motorhomes, a different type approval number may therefore be registered. In these cases, the certificate generally still applies, as the chassis is identical. Should there still be discrepancies, you can have an individual approval carried out – in our experience, this is uncomplicated.
