Compatibility

  Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC): fully usable
  Park Distance Control (PDC): parking aid remains largely functional – only the two middle sensors are deactivated using the included stickers
  Front camera: remains functional, visibility may be slightly restricted
 Automatic parking system: should continue to work – previous tests confirm functionality

Certificates & Vehicle Documents – what you need to know

The type approval numbers listed in the certificate generally refer to the base vehicle (e.g., VW Transporter, Mercedes Sprinter, MAN TGE, Fiat Ducato). Camper versions are also often covered by the certificate, although the lists are usually not exhaustive.
For converted campers or motorhomes, a different type approval number may therefore be registered. In these cases, the certificate generally still applies, as the chassis is identical. Should there be discrepancies nonetheless, you can have an individual approval carried out – experience shows this is uncomplicated.
