Compatibility

  Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC): fully usable
  Park Distance Control (PDC): parking aid largely functional – only the two middle sensors are deactivated using the included stickers
  Front camera: remains functional, the view may be slightly restricted
 Automatic parking system: should continue to work – previous tests confirm the functionality

Certification & vehicle documents – what you need to know

The type approval numbers listed in the certificate generally refer to the base vehicle (e.g., VW Transporter, Mercedes Sprinter, MAN TGE, Fiat Ducato). Camper versions are often included in the certificate, although the lists are usually not exhaustive.
For converted campers or motorhomes, a different type approval number may therefore be registered. In these cases, the certificate generally still applies because the chassis is identical. Should there still be discrepancies, you can have an individual approval carried out – experience shows this is uncomplicated.

Note: With the new models from 2024 onwards, there may be issues with the PDC system, as simply taping them over no longer mutes them. If you are unsure whether your vehicle is affected, please check whether a sheet of paper in front of the sensor already triggers it. If so, it is unfortunately not easily possible to mute the sensors. We are working on a solution.
