You can mount the solar panels both horizontally and vertically on the vehicle roof. For optimal support, horizontal mounting is recommended, but shorter panels can also be mounted vertically. This configuration allows for two or three solar panels to be mounted side-by-side along the length of the roof, securely fixed within the solar panel profiles.

For the Volkswagen Crafter (2006 - 2017) or the Mercedes Sprinter, the total width of a solar panel should not exceed 1285 mm.
