You can mount the solar panels both crosswise and lengthwise on the vehicle roof. For optimal support, crosswise mounting is recommended, but shorter panels can also be mounted lengthwise. This configuration allows two or three solar panels to be mounted side-by-side along the length of the roof, securely fixed in the solar panel profiles.

For the Volkswagen Crafter (2017+) or MAN TGE, the total width of a solar panel should not exceed 1285 mm.
