SIKAFLEX-554 (CARAVAN) WHITE C982

Sikaflex 554 is a one-component, elastic STP adhesive system specially developed for bonding large components in industrial manufacturing. Good adhesion to various substrates with little pre-treatment or without primer. Can be accelerated with the Booster and PowerCure system. Suitable for bonds subject to dynamic loads.

Please note: Observe manufacturer's recommendations before using Sikaflex 554 on materials prone to stress cracking. Preliminary tests must be carried out with original materials to avoid stress cracking.

Properties:

• Very good weather resistance
• Complies with DIN EN 45545-2 R1/R7 HL3
• ISEGA certificate for use in the food sector
• Accelerated curing possible with Sika Booster or Sika PowerCure
• Free of solvents, isocyanates, phthalates and PVC
• Highly dynamically loadable

Resistance to:

• Fresh water & sea water
• diluted acids & diluted alkalis
• temporarily to fuels, mineral oils, vegetable and animal fats and oils;
• not resistant to organic acids, glycol, concentrated mineral acids & alkalis or solvents.

Possible substrates:

• Metals, especially aluminum
• Metal primers
• Sheet steel
• Paints
• Ceramic materials
• Plastics

Contains trimethoxyvinylsilane. May produce an allergic reaction.
