MC4 Y-adapter to connect 2 modules or module strings in parallel. Attention: MC4 is specified for a maximum of 30A, meaning the total current in parallel connection must not exceed this value. Calculate the sum of the currents at the maximum power point - sometimes "nominal current" is also stated in the data sheet. On top of that, please add at least a 10% buffer for winter (increased power due to temperatures below the test conditions at which the modules' power is specified).
