Our complete heating kit for 1 percent of all campers, double heating power compared to the 99% Camper Kit. Everything you need in one kit. Autoterm auxiliary heater with 4 kW heating power, altitude kit, control panel, and installation material for almost any situation.

As the kit's title suggests: This heating kit is the right choice for 1% of campers – meaning, for ALL others, it is simply unsuitable. A 2 kW heater is perfectly sufficient in 99% of cases, and our 99% Camper Kit is the better choice. Here, "more = better" does not apply! It should fit well so you don't regret it.

The Autoterm Air 4D in the 1% Camper-Kit

The Autoterm diesel auxiliary heater included in the 1% Camper-Kit has been a proven technology for many years, which was indispensable in self-built motorhomes even under its previous name Planar 44D.

Robust and easy to repair

What applies to the 99% Kit is even more relevant for the 1% Camper-Kit: The Autoterm heater can be confidently kept in continuous operation. Especially when ambient temperatures are extremely low or the walls of the camper or cabin are not well insulated, it takes an enormous amount of energy to heat the living space. It is better not to let the room cool down completely and simply keep the heater running at a low setting. You can always turn it up – and you should do so occasionally so that the heater doesn't soot up. As a rule of thumb: At least every 1 - 2 weeks for half an hour at full power.

The 4 kW and 2 kW heaters are extremely robust and reliable. Furthermore, on a world trip, they can even be repaired by oneself without serious problems, if that should actually become necessary. However, if you ensure that your heater does not soot up by exclusively operating it at the lowest setting, this is not to be expected.

Altitude Kit

Perhaps you are drawn to the mountains rather than just the cold? The heater is also equipped for this - with an altitude kit that fully automatically adapts the fuel injection to the changed air pressure conditions.

We ourselves developed the altitude kit in collaboration with the manufacturer and tested it on the Pitztal Glacier. In the meantime, our customers have traveled far with it and have used the heater at altitudes of sometimes over 5000 meters.

Attention

Even with an altitude kit, a heater can soot up. Back at normal levels, the heater must be given the opportunity to get rid of soot deposits. As discussed above: half an hour at the highest power level maintains the heater for a long service life.

Our best-selling heater, the Autoterm Air 4D (formerly Planar 44D) with altitude kit. The heater is available for vehicles with 12 V or 24 V onboard voltage. Please choose the appropriate version according to your camper's onboard voltage.

Attention: Fuel hose

The scope of delivery includes a fuel hose that can be used to connect the lines. The length is usually completely sufficient. If you should still not manage with it, you can reorder the hose by the meter under article number 35612.

Patented stainless steel flange

Our stainless steel flange for simple and thermally decoupled mounting of the heater. The flange was developed in-house and is a patented tigerexped design.

Please use a PUR sealant, not silicone, for gluing and sealing the flange.

Choose the appropriate size. It is available for floors up to 48 mm or for 83 mm floor thickness for cabin campers or high insulation and floor plate. For an optimal seal, the flange should be approximately 5 mm longer than the thickness of the floor.

T-pieces for fuel supply

2 different T-pieces (8 x 8 x 5.3 mm and 5.3 x 5.3 x 5.3 mm) are included in case an auxiliary heater is already present or it is ensured that both the heater and the vehicle function properly when your vehicle's original fuel system is used for fuel supply via a T-piece.

If this is not possible or unsafe, the heater's scope of delivery includes a tank extraction pipe, which draws diesel directly from the vehicle tank.

Warm air distribution

3 meters of 90 mm hot air ducting as well as a suitable asymmetrical Y-piece and two rotatable Eberspächer outlets with 90 mm diameter are also included.

Optionally available

For a fuel supply that does not use the vehicle's tank, additional tanks with 7.5 l volume are available.
