Autoterm Air 9D (Planar 9DM) Diesel Air Heater

Proven Autoterm parking heaters, now also with 8 kW heating power. For large vehicles such as trucks and buses or boats up to 15 m in length.

Suitable for large vehicles

The Air 9D far exceeds the heating power requirements of normal campers. For panel vans or well-insulated expedition vehicles, the smaller Air 2D or Air 4D models are better suited.

Originally developed for commercial trucks, the Autoterm Air 9D is used in recreational vehicles for heating poorly insulated travel or double-decker buses (many windows) or boats up to 15 m in length.

The Air 9D is adjustable from 3.2 kW to 8 kW and moves up to 290 m³ of air per hour.

Supply Voltage

The Autoterm Air 9D is designed for connection to the onboard electrical system with 12 V or 24 V. Please choose the appropriate variant for your vehicle.

Consumption

Diesel consumption is approx. 0.42 l/h at the lowest setting and up to 1 l/h at maximum power.

Power Consumption

At minimum heating power, the Autoterm Air 9D consumes approx. 12 W, and up to 180 W at maximum power.

Attention: Fuel hose is included and usually sufficient. If required, it can be reordered by the meter (Art. 35612).

Hot Air Ducting

The Air 9D has 100 mm intake and hot air outlet. A reduction to 90 mm is possible and permissible (adapter required).
