The Votronic MPPT CI "AllSeason" series represents highly efficient, latest-generation solar charge controllers specifically developed for mobile use in motorhomes, campervans, caravans, and boats. Made in Germany, these intelligent charge controllers provide reliable and gentle battery charging directly from your solar modules.

What makes the MPPT CI Series special:

MPPT Technology (Maximum Power Point Tracking):

Thanks to state-of-the-art microprocessor control, the controller continuously determines the optimal power point of the solar modules. This ensures 10% to 30% more charging current compared to conventional PWM controllers – especially noticeable in cooler weather, cloudy skies, or when using high-voltage solar modules.

Integrated CI-BUS Interface:

Equipped with a modern CI-Bus interface, the controller can be seamlessly integrated into digital onboard management systems. Relevant solar data can be displayed directly on central vehicle displays.

Two Charging Outputs (Main & Auxiliary Charging Branch):

• Main Output (Board I): Charges the supply/leisure battery with full charging power.
• Auxiliary Output (Board II): Provides automatic support and trickle charging (1.0 A – 1.5 A) for the 12V starter battery during long periods of inactivity.

8 Selectable Charging Programs:

Precisely matched IU1oU2 charging curves for all common battery technologies:

• Lead-acid, gel, and AGM batteries (incl. 14.7V/14.8V profiles)
• LiFePO4 (lithium) batteries with matched protection functions
• Special charging program for heated LiFePO4 batteries at low temperatures.

   

AES Refrigerator Control Output:

When there is a solar surplus and the leisure battery is full, this allows automatic switching of AES absorption refrigerators from gas to 12V solar operation.

Complete Protection & Equipment Package:

• Protection against overload, overheating, short circuit, reverse polarity, and nighttime reverse discharge.
• Integrated on-board power filter for problem-free parallel operation with mains chargers, alternators, generators, and solar systems.
• Connections for Votronic LED/LCD displays, EBL electrical blocks, and Bluetooth connector (S-BC) integrated.
