The ALPHARACK cross member for VW T5 / T6 pop-top roofs is the ideal solution for mounting a stable roof rack on your pop-top roof. Made from a robust aluminum profile (30×60 mm) with connecting parts made of rust-free stainless steel – light, durable and weather-resistant. The cross member fits all common VW T5 / T6 pop-top roofs – whether original VW / Westfalia, Reimo or SCA – and can be mounted either directly into the original VW California C-rail or onto retrofittable ALPHARACK airline rails (AR0105).

Required accessories for mounting

Depending on the mounting method, the appropriate sliding nuts are required as a separate item:

• VW California C-rail – suitable sliding nuts for the original VW C-slot (sold separately)
• ALPHARACK airline rail AR0105 – sliding nuts AR0102, 4 pieces per cross member (sold separately)

Mounting

Depending on the mounting method, the cross member is either pushed directly into the original C-rail of the VW California pop-top roof and screwed, or fastened to the retrofittable ALPHARACK airline rails (AR0105) with 4× sliding nuts (AR0102) per cross member. The airline rails are attached directly to the frame of the pop-top roof (glued and/or screwed).

Compatibility

Suitable for all VW T5 / T6 models with pop-top roof, short and long wheelbase. Compatible with pop-top roofs from Original VW / Westfalia, Reimo and SCA. For airline rail mounting, the ALPHARACK airline rails AR0105 (sold separately) are required.
