Benefits of the shear force reinforcement bracket for your campervan

A common problem when driving Sprinters off-road is the shearing off of the bolts on the rear shock absorber mount due to high loads. When this happens, removing the sheared bolt from the rail becomes a real challenge – especially far from the nearest road.

The shear force reinforcement bracket was specifically developed to prevent this problem. The main plate distributes the load of the shock absorber to two points on the bolt, so that the forces are transferred to the chassis via two additional bolts. A reinforcement plate is included in the scope of delivery, as is a locking plate that secures the bolt.

Made from powder-coated steel, this bracket ensures you can travel worry-free even in the toughest conditions.

Installation requirements for the shear force reinforcement bracket

Installation of the 50mm lift kit is straightforward and can be carried out with simple tools, as all components are designed as bolt-on parts. The kit contains all required mounting hardware.
